Simon Bryant wife- Simon Bryant is an Australian chef. Bryant featured alongside South Australian Maggie Beer on the ABC program The Cook and the Chef. The show broadcast over four years over a total of 150 episodes, attracting nationally 600,000 viewers. Bryant had been with Hilton Adelaide for over 10 years, beginning as a Chef Commis, then eighteen months with Cheong Liew as the Chef de Partie, and quickly joining ‘The Brasserie’ Senior Sub-Chef. He became a senior chef with three-three staff, two major restaurants in the state, a rapid service and South Australia’s Excentric, adventurous and eclectic. ‘The Brasserie’ was his break.
The Brasserie’s break was promoted to the Chief Executive, with 33 employees, 2 of the state’s leading restaurants, a rapid service, the biggest catering and room service operation in the state, and as Southern Australia’s largest hotel. However, the days her boys attribute to an undiagnosed bipolar disorder and the failure of a relationship and the problem of money led to Dr. Bryant’s “eternally hopeful” life four years ago.
Chef Simon Bryant and his brother Richard talked for the first time this week about their mother’s tragic loss to suicide in 2009. Simon, 49, and Richard, 51 remembered her mother as a woman who “grabs life through the horns,” but struggles to lose independence due to the growing severity of mental health. “She’s been out of focus. At one operation she had a Doberman under her desk, and a King Charles Cavalier spaniel welcomed clients at another,” said Simon.
