Marc Jacobs Husband
Marc Jacobs Husband:- Marc Jacobs demonstrated again on Wednesday night that he was fashion’s most enjoyable designer when he proposed to his longtime lover, Char Defrancesco, through a flash mob at a Chipotle, his preferred location for the proposal.
If you follow Jacobs’s personal Instagram, you’ve almost certainly come across Defrancesco; the designer has shared a practically infinite number of photos of their jet-setting, often seaside existence together. However, apart from the obvious—a sense of humor and sculpted abs—not much is known about Jacobs’s fiancé, which begs the question: Who is Char Defrancesco?
Marc Jacobs and Charly “Char” Defrancesco exchanged vows in New York City on Saturday. The designer proposed to Defrancesco at a Chipotle in April 2018 — replete with an extravagant flash mob performance to Prince’s “Kiss.” (Unfortunately, the couple’s wedding day was devoid of burrito bowls of guacamole.)
Jacobs is well-known for organizing some of the fashion industry’s most talked-about parties, so it’s unsurprising that his wedding, which took place in the historic Seagram Building, was extravagant in the best possible manner. Nevertheless, we could glean a few juicy nuggets from the post-nuptials bash, thanks to some social media snooping. Continue reading for highlights from the #marcandcharswedding.
Marc Jacobs and Harry Louis divorced in 2013. Two years later, he was seen in public with tattooed, muscular Charly Defrancesco, and their relationship was verified on New Year’s Eve. He was born in Switzerland, where his parents ran a boarding school, and relocated to Los Angeles with his family at three, where he spent most of his youth. He chose to create a store for cool parents after studying political science at UCLA. Next, he relocated to New York and started modeling before working as a bartender and then as an interior designer with his enthusiastic attitude.
He then met Marc Jacobs and became his jet-setting companion a few years later. Char Defrancesco previously starred in the popular Netflix program Sense8. Splitting their time between travels to Paris and vacations in St. Barts, their romance reached a new level on April 4 when Marc Jacobs proposed with a surprise flashmob at a New York Chipotle, a restaurant where they both like eating on their birthdays. One year later, the pair married in New York.
Naturally, the couple’s special celebration was attended by some of the industry’s biggest names, including deep inhale Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, Christy Turlington, Gigi, and Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Debbie Harry, Lil’ Kim, Helena Christensen, Christina Ricci, Katie Grand, Tim Blanks, Emily Ratajkowski, Rachel Zoe, Chloe Sevigny, Luka Sabbat, Hamish Bowles There are undoubtedly more. Still, we can only trawl Getty and Instagram for so long.
