Drew Barrymore Eyeliner Hack
Drew Barrymore Eyeliner Hack:- Drew Barrymore Eyeliner trick for leveling out asymmetrical eyes. Barrymore explains that the solution is to tighten the top waterline of the eye that seems droopier. “As you can see, one eye is lower than the other,” she explains in the video, gesturing her orbs. She comments that by shading in her top waterline, “it will open my eye to match.”
We’ve been fans of Drew Barrymore’s no-nonsense approach to beauty since she established Flower Beauty. As a result, we’ve been following her on Instagram as she celebrates #BeautyJunkieWeek (an event started by Barrymore) by posting some of her favorite products, tips, and tactics.
And on Tuesday, we struck gold. Barrymore resorted to Instagram Stories to demonstrate her go-to drugstore trick for combating dark circles: Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream.
“This alone serves as a concealer, brightening and lightening the impact and appearance of a dark circle, but it also tames the dark circle while it’s on. It’s a kind of perfect mix of skincare and cosmetics, which I like. Barrymore gushes in the video, “It’s my tried and true.”
Indeed, Barrymore maintains that it works so effectively that she often uses it in place of natural concealer. However, if you want to replicate this look, she offers a warning: avoid layering actual concealer on top. This will cause the product to curdle, which is not what we want.
She then rims her upper waterline with Flower Beauty Forever Wear Eyeliner. Keep your application inside the waterline (not the lash line) to keep it looking natural and even throughout the day. Barrymore advises running a wet cotton swab around the rim if you see any transfer down the bottom waterline. That’s it: symmetrical eyes that seem wide-awake in less than two minutes.
“It’s a pretty neat trick,” Barrymore continues. “I feel as if my eyes are lot more even than they were previously.” Although the before and after photos are rather striking (don’t take our word for it; watch the movie! ), the hack is low-lift. To our mind, this is a fantastic addition to your bank of beauty advice.
Any shade of liner will work—Barrymore chooses an onyx tone to complement her black mascara, but you may always prefer a brown or taupe for a softer look.
The rich pink-tinted cream is formulated with moisturizing and rejuvenating elements such as B3 and peptides and a dash of concealer to smooth and brighten the skin while concealing dark under-eye bags.
